Map of Wakamarina Track

The track, which crosses the Richmond Range, is best ridden from south to north. The southern trailhead is reached from the Northbank Rd of the Wairau River. Follow up the Northbank Rd for about 5km then take the right fork up the Onamalutu Valley. Follow the major road up the valley which turns into a gravel forestry road with the odd sign pointing to the Wakamarina Track.
