Richmond Hill XC Round 4
Recent rain made for slippery condidtions on the steep corners of Richmond Hill. The course started at Easby Park and headed up Tower Rd before throwing a right down Lost Time. Conditions were very greasy in the trees which sorted riders out. From the end of Lost Time it headed up Pylon Rd back on to Lookout Rd and kept climbing to Fowler Rd which headed right to the start of Slippery Rail. Slippery Rail lived up to its name with greasy ruts testing the best riders. Then down to Walters Wiggles for a bit of tobogganing to the start of the Escalator. A couple of greasy hairpins at the top of Escalator tested the best before spitting them out to the start of Lodestone Gully track. The two hairpins in the gully were as greasy as usual for this time of the year. Then down Pylon Rd and back across the connecting track to Tower Rd for another lap.

Note: Since the race many of the corners have been bermed making them easier to ride in marginal conditions.
