See Short Rides for rides of up to 4 hours

Rides on this page are mostly full day "epic" rides predominantly singletrack. Click on the photos or captions for more photos and details of each ride. There are links to maps on several of the pages.

A permit is required to ride in Hancock Forests. Members of the Nelson Mountainbike Club receive an annual permit as part of their membership fee. To join the Club go to "MTB Membership Form" which can be filled out on-line. Payment instructions are on the form. See Hancock Forest Maps for locations of forest boundaries. For the latest forest access information check Forest Access Updates on the Noticeboard or scroll back through news items on the Home Page.
